The Directors Cut was established in 2013 with a simple vision: to capture weddings in a way that feels cinematic, authentic and timeless.


Led by Amit and Kamal, our studio has grown into a trusted photography and cinematography team specialising in Indian, Hindu, Sikh and multicultural weddings across the UK and abroad.

A Directors Cut is the version of the story that carries the most meaning.


That is exactly how we approach wedding films.

Instead of creating a long traditional wedding video, we carefully craft your day into a modern, cinematic documentary-style film that feels emotional, engaging and timeless.


Your Directors Cut film brings together the key moments, atmosphere, speeches, family emotion, cultural traditions, music and natural sound from your wedding day. For ceremony coverage, the final creative film is usually up to 20 minutes, and where your coverage includes a reception, your story can be crafted into a film of up to 40 minutes.


We also include heartfelt interviews with parents and close family, asking meaningful questions about the couple, their values, traditions and culture. These personal words add depth and legacy, creating a film that is powerful for parents, meaningful for the couple, and enjoyable for future generations to watch.


For those who want to relive the ceremony in full, the complete unedited 4K ceremony footage is also provided separately within your film portal as a special feature.
